Your Role

We are now looking for surface treatment specialists for one of Europe’s most modern surface treatment facilities and one of the world’s most advanced shipyards. In your role as a surface treatment specialist, you will be involved in both new constructions and maintenance work on surface and underwater vessels.

To succeed in your role with us, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Main Responsibilities

• Blasting
• Spray painting with low and high-pressure spray
• Painting

Your Profile

Requirements

• High school education with a practical focus, such as painter or similar
• Experience in blasting or coating
• Worked with low and high-pressure spray
• Painted with two-component paint
• Able to work in tight spaces and at heights
• Computer literacy

Meritorious

• Experience with marine vessels
• Composite material training
• Lift certificate
• Fall protection training

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
